2017 Preview Run will be held on Sunday, April 9th at 7:30am.
Meet in parking lot of the Civil War Museum. (Where the Wisconsin Marathon will start.)
You need to get in a run anyway, why not gain an extra edge and see the course?
Again in 2017, the Wisconsin Marathon, in conjunction with the Kenosha Running Club, will be hosting a training run on April 9th. You can run as long or as short as you wish, and get a glimpse of where you’ll be running on May 6th. We will mostly check out the northern half of the course and most people will do between 7 and 8 miles. The Kenosha Running Club will serve as course leaders and we will have maps and water available.
This is a free event!
You can RSVP on the KRC’s facebook event.
Some things to note:
– We will supply water at the start area. Please bring your own supply if you need any while on course.
– The course most of us will do will head north and is about 7-8 miles long. It covers the part of the course that is roughly miles 7 thru 13. Feel free to do the course multiple times or follow the map to make it shorter or longer.
– We can park in the museum’s parking lot but there is plenty of street parking nearby. Please remember that there won’t be any parking in the museum’s lot on race day, so be sure to check out the downtown area at some point to get an idea of where you might want to park on race morning.
– Be prepared to have a nice, relaxing run with some awesome people that share your goals.
