Course Preview & Other Runs

2023 Preview Run- Saturday, April 8. 7:30am.

Meet in parking lot of the Civil War Museum. (Where the Wisconsin Marathon will start.)

You need to get in a run anyway, why not gain an extra edge and see the course?

Again in 2023, the Wisconsin Marathon, in conjunction with the Kenosha Running Club, will be hosting a training run. You can run as long or as short as you wish and get a glimpse of where you’ll be running on May 6th. Most people will probably do between 7 and 8 miles, but all distances and abilities are welcome. The Kenosha Running Club will serve as course leaders and we will have maps and water available.

This is a free event!

Some things to note:
– We will supply water at the start area. Please bring your own supply if you need any while on course.
– Different groups may head in different directions depending on how long people want to go. We will group people together based on their pace before we start to run and the KRC members will help guide the area so you get in the mileage you want. Check course maps ahead of time to get a feel for the streets in the area. (Most streets are numbered, so it is easy to get back to the start if you get lost.)
– We can park in the museum’s parking lot but there is plenty of street parking nearby. Please remember that there won’t be any parking in the museum’s lot on race day, so be sure to check out the downtown area at some point to get an idea of where you might want to park on race morning.
– Be prepared to have a nice, relaxing run with some awesome people that share your goals.
